Oluwole is an experienced health financing specialist with over 10 years’ experience in public health expenditure analysis, planning and costing, simulation of economic and financial modeling, fiscal space analysis, data management, survey instrument design and development; data digitization and analysis. His project involvement includes technical support to World Health Organization (WHO) East and Southern Africa on COVID-19 financing and Vaccine Rollout Activities in 20 countries, development, resource mobilization and implementation of COVID-19 national deployment and vaccination plans, support to Zambia Ministry of Health on the application on GAVI full planning portfolio (FPP), national immunization strategy (NIS) development, immunization financing analysis, COVID 19 integration plan into RI and other PHC services, etc.
He is the Lead Consultant on the production of National and Subnational Health Accounts in Nigeria using System of Health Accounts (SHA 2011) model from 2010 till date in collaboration with Federal Ministry of Health, Federal Ministry of Finance and National Bureau of Statistics. Previous consulting assignments include Costing of National/Rivers State Strategic Health Development Plan II (NSHDP) 2018 – 2022; Costing of Health Sector Medium Term National Development Plan (2021 – 2025); Development, Costing and Investment Case for 10-Year Strategic Plan (2021-2030) of Nigerian National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA); Advisory services and analytics on options for raising revenue to health sector in Nigeria (World Bank Consultant); Economic and Cost Benefit Analysis of Nigerian National Health Bill funded by Save the Children; Economic and Financial modelling for State Health Insurance Scheme in Nigeria by IFC/World Bank Group Nigeria; etc
