Chisenga Musuka is a technical consultant and founder of Blue Byte Analytics Ltd., with over a decade of experience in GIS and data analytics across health, natural resources, local government, agriculture, and other sectors. As CEO, he led the firm to become Zambia’s official Esri software sub-distributor. His previous roles include Technical Consultant for GRID3 and Project Manager with Sivan Design Ltd. His work has contributed to the development of Zambia’s National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) and a data hub for managing and sharing key datasets. In the health sector, his efforts contributed to enhanced vaccination outcomes in Zambia, especially during COVID-19.
Chisenga holds a BSc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Zambia and is pursuing an International Master of Public Health at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is a member of the COVAX Geospatial Community of Practice, the Geospatial Information and Technology Association of Zambia, and the Zambia Association of Biological Scientists. He has co-authored research on spatial factors in COVID-19-related deaths in Lusaka, underscoring his commitment to applying GIS in public health.
